GRIB

A GRIB is a weather forecast
– Use the “Request GRIB” to have the GRIB sent to your device
– “Email” will make use the Mail app to make the request. The GRIB forecast will come in as an email with a file attachment in the Mail app. To import hold down the GRB file attachment in the email and select “Open In…” “iNavX”
– Alternatively, the “Import GRIB” button will show available GRIBS
– After requesting a GRIB, it will take approximately one minute before the GRIB is available
– Once a GRIB is selected in the “GRIBs” section, the [<] and [>] buttons on the chart view will decrement or increment the forecast date
– The Animate button can be selected to have the forecasts cycled
– Note: GRIB data is typically at 0.5 degree resolution so be sure to use a chart that covers enough area to see the GRIB data (i.e. small scale)
